Testing in accordance with DIN 4102-7 and DIN V ENV 1187- Test procedure 1 (in conjunction with DIN EN 13501-5)

The purpose of testing is to determine the resistance of roofing materials to flying sparks and radiant heat.

The resistance of a roof to this type of danger must be proved by a "general building authority test certificate" on the basis of testing pursuant to this standard.

As a testing institute approved in accordance with the state building regulations we can support you in procuring this proof. In addition we can carry out fire tests for you to pave the way in your product development.

Testing in accordance with DIN 4102-12 Fire behaviour of building materials and building components; reliability of electrical systems:

The purpose of the test in accordance with DIN 4102-12: 1998-11 is to classify electrical wiring systems required to maintain circuit integrity for at least a specific length of time in the event of a fire.

The fact that such electrical wiring installations will continue to function must be proved by a test certificate on the basis of testing pursuant to this standard.

As a testing institute approved in accordance with the state building regulations we can support you in procuring this proof. In addition we can carry out fire tests for you to pave the way in your product development.

Testing according to DIN 4102-12 : 1998-11 applies to cables with a rated voltage of up to1kV.

Testing according to DIN 4102-12 : 1998-11 is used pursuant to Section 4 of the standard for:

    • Wiring installations in cable channels and shafts (DIN 4102-12 : 1998-11, Section 7.3.2)
    • Wiring installations with integrated circuit integrity (DIN 4102-12 : 1998-11, Section 7.3.3)
    • Wiring installations – clad and covered (DIN 4102-12 : 1998-11, Section 7.3.4)
    • Busbar trunking systems in channels or shafts and/or with integrated circuit integrity.
