Fire and explosion hazard assessment
As specified by the Occupational Safety Act, in conjunction with the Operations Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV) and the Hazardous Materials Ordinance, employers are obliged to conduct a hazard assessment for operating resources and equipment. Employers who operate plants and systems for which surveillance is prescribed must carry out a safety technology evaluation. Here, in addition to acoustic and mechanical hazards, for instance, particular attention is to be given to the hazards resulting from fires and explosions. As opposed to acoustic and mechanical evaluations, the employer often has no concrete, quantitative limit values for use in evaluating fire and explosion hazards. This is where we come into play, helping you work out integrated fire and explosion safety concepts. Our interdisciplinary expertise in both fields – fire protection and explosion protection – is unique on the market and is your guarantee of effective and cost-efficient safety concepts.
