Emissions of flammable gases as methane occur in various geological formations during construction or operation of tunnels or other underground structures.

For control of gas emissions we develop concepts for ventilation and monitoring according to the international recognized codes of practice. During reconstruction or repairing of tunnels we also operate the ventilation.

We assess the risk potential during operation of tunnels and develop individuel safety concepts.

DMT has built up experience during tunnel projects in Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Taivan and Venezuela.
