We support mining companies in planning, optimising and assessing ventilation concepts for existing workings as well as for mine extensions. Special consideration is paid to economic and safety aspects.

• Determination of size and design of ventilation pipes, dust removal plants and fans
• Development of water spraying systems on heading machines for reducing dust and suppressing methane ignition 
• Assessment of fault incidents in the event of fan breakdowns and vehicle fires

In our own gas measurement laboratory we determine the gas content and gas emission tendency of coal and ascertain sorption isotherms.

Furthermore we prepare gas mixtures in our gas analysis station for testing gas measuring equipment. And we advise you with regard to the compliance with mining authority regulations and compile expert reports for these authorities as well as for legal proceedings.
