German industry is a leader in the recovery and utilisation of methane from disused mines, also known as Abandoned Mine Methane (AMM). DMT has played a major role in creating Germany’s AMM sector. Our cooperation with the major AMM companies has given us considerable experience in basic issues, such as dilution by air ingress, rising water levels, development of gas composition and vacuum in the workings.
