DMT has suitably qualified employees as well as the best possible equipment for carrying out any project you may have.

Surveying
Our surveying is DGPS supported and is performed using the most up-to-date recording and interpretation techniques. Mainly LEICA System 1200 & System 500 equipment is used for the surveying work. Calculations, quality control, data management and display are carried out using programmes within the GPSeismic™ suite.

Acquisition
For data acquisition we use the internationally established instruments Sercel 428/408, Aram 24 and the DMT in-house development SUMMIT. With this equipment even high resolution seismic surveys with a large number of channels present no problem for us.

On the source side we work either with the conventional explosive technique or, and more usually, with different fleets of our vibrators, of which our ION-AHV-IV vibrator emits the highest energy spectrum with a peak force of 275kN (61,800 lbs).

It’s up to you whether you take advantage of our exploration seismics services individually or in any specific combination:

• Surveys as 2D, 3D or 4D time-lapse 
• Recording of conventional P-waves 
• 3-component (3C) recording
• Land seismics independent of the surface conditions
• Shallow water seismics (in transition zones) in water depths up to 100m applying special equipment

For shallow water operations DMT uses its own special boats, the airguns of which are adjusted in each specific case to the frequency spectrum and power output you require.

Quality control and assurance
DMT is the only German general contractor offering exploration seismics and is certified according to ISO 9001. This guarantees that you get the highest data quality throughout, quality that can be verified at any time. Besides the constant quality control in the survey truck, a further final control is made during field processing. Systems such as ProMAX™, OMNI™ and GPSeismic™ are employed for this.

SHE control and assurance
We have developed our own Safety, Health & Environment Management System (SHE MS) based on the guidelines of the international standards ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Our SHE MS is SCC certified (“Safety Certificate Contractors“) and is subjected to an annual internal audit to ensure it functions properly and is verified by an external accredited organisation.
