Hydrogeology & Water Management

Our Hydrogeology and Water Management Department can trace its roots back to the former Westfälische Berggewerkschaftskasse. Our continuing association with the mining industry as we perform our geological and hydrogeological work goes back to 1864. That long history has bestowed upon us extensive archives and a wealth of experience. We systematically expand on this background by adopting the latest finding and developments in science and computer engineering.

Our customers can call upon us for a wide range of services. We provide everything from expert technical studies to comprehensive groundwater management. We explore, monitor and – using numerical models – facilitate the planning of water management regimes and provide forecasts of their effects and potential ecological effects.
