MineSafe® is DMT’s machine diagnostic system specially designed for use in mining. The system is built up on the experience gained from the DMT-ZUMWART online system and uses for the core functions the modern components of our new XSafe technology.

The hardware of the system is specially designed for use in explosive environments. The software interfaces are likewise specially adapted to the requirements of the mining industry.

DMT has ATEX-approved sensors, recording equipment and data preprocessing instruments as well as data transmission apparatus for use in underground mining, all of which have been specifically designed to meet the high signal quality requirements in machine diagnostics.

To ensure the equipment can withstand the severe wear and tear in underground operations it has been appropriately designed with robust, amply thick stainless steel casing.

MineSafe is in operation in three coal mines of Deutsche Steinkohle AG.

The DMT service controller is available for monitoring mobile equipment, such as diesel trolleys and locomotives.
